Baby Sleep and Nursery Resource Index
A soundly sleeping baby is the holy grail of parenting!
Navigating this minefield will take you to places you never thought you would go, and you will be amazed what your mind and body can cope with when you have no other choice.
But it doesn’t have to be an out of control experience that pushes you to the brink of your sanity.
Through planning, patience and routine you can train your baby into patterns that will minimize the raw strain on you as a parent.
Now that you have mastered your baby’s sleep, its time to take care of yours… Kind of.
Having eyes and ears in the nursery through a good quality baby monitor will give you the peace of mind to be able to rest without constantly worrying about your baby.
Modern baby monitors have heat sensors, movement sensors, high res video, and super long ranges. It’s the next best thing to being in the room.
It also makes it much easier for them to wake you up… So there’s that.
Nursery Decor and Accessories
Not only will the crib be the visual centrepiece of the Nursery, it is also where baby will spend most of their time.
Sweet relief, rest and relaxation awaits in this sanctuary…. But so is crying and screaming if you get it wrong.
We have done the research to help you find what works for you and your baby. The central themes being safety, space available, preference for material, and the budget you have to spend.
It is also important we create a safe space for your child.
Technology has made it easy to be there in the room, when you are not there in the room. This poses a new set of problems though with secure connections, quality of signal, and how far from your baby is too far for you to respond quick enough.
We will walk you through these risks and how to minimize them so you have that peace of mind, and most importantly, so your baby is as safe as possible.
